Learning at Pasadena

At Pasadena, we teach through a conceptual approach. The concepts run through all subjects in the school.

The Pasadena curriculum is built around all students having a range of opportunities to learn, with an emphasis on core numeracy and literacy skills and a strong focus on high levels of achievement to nurture personal excellence.

Importance is placed on developing the whole child considering their social, emotional and cultural needs in addition to academic achievement. Our conceptual curriculum provides a comprehensive inquiry based approach that personalises learning for the individual student by ensuring they see relevance, significance and connection in their learning.

We provide Flexible Learning Environments where students can effectively collaborate having a choice where and how they work related to the task they are completing. Students are encouraged to bring their own device which enables them to research, communicate and share their learning anytime, anywhere within in the school day.
