Bicycles, Skateboards, Scooters, Rollerblades

Students may cycle or ride skateboards, non motorized scooters or rollerblades to school. A high standard of road sense and pedestrian courtesy is required and if a student proves to be unable to operate at this standard, then the right to ride to school will be removed.

Cycle stands are provided and while every effort is made to ensure the security and safety of bicycles and scooters, the school cannot accept responsibility for damage or theft. We strongly advise that students lock their bicycles and scooters to the stands.

Students are required by law to wear approved safety helmets and equipment when travelling to and from school and while using skateboards and rollerblades at school.

Cycling and scooter riding are not permitted in the school grounds. Skateboarding and rollerblading during interval and recreation is restricted to the designated skateboard and rollerblade area.
