Pasadena Intermediate has a proud history of success, often ‘boxing well above its weight’ in sport.

This picture is from the Auckland Intermediate Schools’ Rugby Finals in 1988. Pasadena played in 4 of the 5 weight grade finals at Eden Park that afternoon and won 3! The picture features a charging run from Alan Bate, now living in London. Another star of our teams back in 1988 was Nigel Vagana, former Kiwi and ARL  league star.
